Landscape Pre-Activity Supervisor

The Landscape Pre-Activity Supervisor handles all area pre-activity checklist tasks before the irrigation and landscape installation team comes into an area to install tree and shrubs. Duties include creating maps from plans, reading landscape plans, flagging tree placement, meeting with the Landscape Architect to review changes to plant layouts, as needed, obtaining soil samples, calling in locates with Sunshine 811, walking the area with GC representative(s), making punch list of items needed before installation can begin and follow up on all punch list items. The Pre-Activity Supervisor needs to have skills in:

• Planning and organizing time, effectively schedule meetings with others
• Ability to read scaled drawings for installs
• Provide accurate plant counts on reports for Purchase Orders to be prepared
• Uploading documents to shared One Note for other personnel to refer to (maps, locates, etc.)
• Oversee and maintain safe working conditions, conduct safety tail-gate meetings, ensure proper personal protective equipment is being used, correct equipment techniques and road side safety adherence
• Monitor sites and provide recommendation for improvement to Foreman
• Perform quality control checks for placement and quantities of trees installed; provide as-builts with inventory tag numbers
• Thinking ahead and completing tasks efficiently and by deadlines
• Ability to work in Florida sun and heat

Qualified candidates will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer skills with Microsoft Office products, leadership skills, knowledge of regional plants and material, and additional qualifications as per the job description.

2 years or more of landscaping or construction site experience a PLUS.

Will train on specific process and methods used at company.

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, reaching, climbing and lifting for prolonged periods of time, and lifting and carrying 50 pounds.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Must have valid Florida Driver's License with dependable, reliable transportation.
